REFLECTION

Experience
Advanced Typography has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding modules this semester. Each task demanded a high level of creativity and problem-solving to meet the requirements. While working on these assignments, I realized that every design decision I made was deeply rooted in theoretical concepts that became clearer through practice. This module served as a personal milestone, allowing me to evaluate my current abilities and push beyond my limits as an artist and designer.

Observations
One key observation was the significance of constructive feedback, both from Mr. Vinod and my peers. I learned that while external input provides valuable insights, maintaining a clear vision of my own work is crucial. Balancing feedback with personal interpretation leads to designs that are not only technically sound but also authentic and meaningful. Observing how Mr. Vinod dissected designs helped me understand the importance of detail and precision, which are critical for strong typographic work.

Findings
A major finding from this module was the endless potential of typography. I discovered several fascinating concepts that I couldn’t fully explore during the tasks but intend to revisit and experiment with in future projects. Furthermore, my perspective on typography has shifted; I now notice its applications and nuances in everyday surroundings, inspiring me to see the world through a more design-oriented lens.
